The company owns the unique quarry of grey marble called Gortynis, which is located in the region of Miamou 12km south of the ancient city of Gortys at the prefecture of Heraklion Crete in Greece.
This is the area from which the marble of this extremely rare and admirable grey colour is quarried in blocks of big dimensions.
The usual production of it contains solid blocks of up to 3.00m x 1.70m x 1.70m which gives the opportunity to accomplish quite special and demanding projects.Grey marble Gortynis, due to its unique characteristics and its natural strength does not need epoxy resins or any kind of special treatment. It is solid and strong by nature!
